American Standard Version
Instead of your shame `ye shall have' double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Amplified® Bible
Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor {and} reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Contemporary English Version
They were terribly insulted and horribly mistreated; now they will be greatly blessed and joyful forever.

Darby English Version
Instead of your shame [ye shall have] double; instead of confusion they shall celebrate with joy their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Your shame and disgrace are ended. You will live in your own land, And your wealth will be doubled; Your joy will last forever.
