American Standard Version
And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

Amplified® Bible
And through the infamy {and} unseemly frivolity of Israel's whoredom [because her immorality mattered little to her], she polluted {and} defiled the land, [by her idolatry] committing adultery with [idols of] stones and trees.

Contemporary English Version
The kingdom of Judah wasn't sorry for being a prostitute, and she didn't care that she had made both herself and the land unclean by worshiping idols of stone and wood.

And it came to pass through the lightness of her fornication that she polluted the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
