American Standard Version
They have denied Jehovah, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

Amplified® Bible
They have lied about {and} denied the Lord by saying, It is not He [Who speaks through His prophets]! Evil shall not come upon us; nor shall we see war or famine.

Contemporary English Version
Their prophets lie and say, "The LORD won't punish us. We will have peace and plenty of food."

Darby English Version
They have denied Jehovah, and say, He is not; and evil shall not come upon us, nor shall we see sword nor famine;

Good News Bible
The LORD's people have denied him and have said, "He won't really do anything. We won't have hard times; we won't have war or famine."

King James Version
They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

They have lied about the LORD And said, "Not He; Misfortune will not come on us, And we will not see sword or famine.

They have lied about the LORD;
they said, "He will do nothing!
No harm will come to us;
we will never see sword or famine.
