American Standard Version
But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Amplified® Bible
But the Israelites walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

Contemporary English Version
But the sea had made a wall of water on each side of the Israelites; so they walked through on dry land.
