Jeremiah 20:13
Sing unto the Lord - He was so completely delivered from all fear, that although he remained in the same circumstances, yet he exults in the Divine protection, and does not fear the face of any adversary.
11 But the Lord is awith me as a mighty, awesome One.
Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not bprevail.
They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper.
Their ceverlasting confusion will never be forgotten.
Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not bprevail.
They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper.
Their ceverlasting confusion will never be forgotten.
12 But, O Lord of hosts,
You who atest the righteous,
And see the1 mind and heart,
bLet me see Your vengeance on them;
For I have pleaded my cause before You.
You who atest the righteous,
And see the1 mind and heart,
bLet me see Your vengeance on them;
For I have pleaded my cause before You.
13 Sing to the Lord! Praise the Lord!
For aHe has delivered the life of the poor
From the hand of evildoers.
For aHe has delivered the life of the poor
From the hand of evildoers.
15 Let the man be cursed
Who brought news to my father, saying,
“A male child has been born to you!”
Making him very glad.
Who brought news to my father, saying,
“A male child has been born to you!”
Making him very glad.
