I know his wrath, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing.

Amplified® Bible
I know his insolent wrath, says the Lord, and the nothingness of his boastings {and} his deeds; they are false {and} have accomplished nothing.

But I also know bragging will never save you.

I know his wrath, saith Jehovah; his pratings are vain: they do not as [they say].
