American Standard Version
And they shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him that seeketh `unto him';

Amplified® Bible
And they both shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the iniquity of the [presumptuous] prophet shall be the same as the iniquity of the [hypocritical] inquirer,

and anyone who goes to that prophet for a message will be punished in the same way.
