Ezekiel 19:6
And he went up and down among the lions - He became a perfect heathen, and made Judea as idolatrous as any of the surrounding nations. He reigned eleven years, a monster of iniquity, II Kings 23:30, etc.
4 The nations also heard of him;
He was trapped in their pit,
And they brought him with chains to the land of aEgypt.
He was trapped in their pit,
And they brought him with chains to the land of aEgypt.
5 ‘When she saw that she waited, that her hope was lost,
She took aanother of her cubs and made him a young lion.
She took aanother of her cubs and made him a young lion.
7 1He knew their desolate places,
And laid waste their cities;
The land with its fullness was desolated
By the noise of his roaring.
And laid waste their cities;
The land with its fullness was desolated
By the noise of his roaring.
8 aThen the nations set against him from the provinces on every side,
And spread their net over him;
bHe was trapped in their pit.
And spread their net over him;
bHe was trapped in their pit.
