The interrogation implies a strong affirmation, as in Ezekiel 20:4, "Are ye not polluted . . . ? Do ye not commit?" etc. Or, connecting this verse with Ezekiel 20:31, "Are ye thus polluted . . . and yet (do ye expect that) I shall be inquired of by you?"
