Ezekiel 22:9

7 In you they have ^amade light of father and mother; in your midst they have ^boppressed the stranger; in you they have mistreated the¹ fatherless and the widow.

8 You have despised My holy things and ^aprofaned My Sabbaths.

9 In you are ^amen who slander to cause bloodshed; ^bin you are those who eat on the mountains; in your midst they commit lewdness.

10 In you men ^auncover their fathers’ nakedness; in you they violate women who are ^bset apart during their impurity.

11 One commits abomination ^awith his neighbor’s wife; ^banother lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; and another in you violates his sister, his father’s ^cdaughter.

Carry tales - Informers, or persons that for money, give in false witness against the innocent. They eat - Offer sacrifice on the mountains and feast there, in honour of their idols.
