The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were thy rowers: thy wise men, O Tyre, were in thee, they were thy pilots.

The inhabitants of Sidon and [the island] of Arvad were your oarsmen; your skilled {and} wise men, O Tyre, were in you; they were your pilots.

Contemporary English Version
Men from Sidon and Arvad did the rowing, and your own skilled workers were the captains.

The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy rowers; thy wise men, O Tyre, who were in thee, were thy pilots.
