Ezekiel 36:37
Compare all
35 So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of aEden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’
36 Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. aI, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
37 ‘Thus says the Lord God: a“I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will bincrease their men like a flock.
38 Like a flock offered as holy sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem on its2 feast days, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”

Ezekiel 36:37

Thus saith the Lord God - In answer to the question, "Who shall have such blessings?" we say, they that pray, that seek earnestly, that strive to enter in at the strait gate. "Thus saith the Lord, I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel." Neither Jew nor Gentile shall be thus saved who do not earnestly pray to God; and for this thing; for this complete salvation; this setting up of the kingdom of Christ upon earth, and particularly in their own souls.
