And the horse from Jerusalem;

He shall speak peace to the nations;

God Will Save His People
Because of the blood of your covenant,
I will set your aprisoners free from the waterless pit.
aYou prisoners of hope.
Even today I declare
That I will restore bdouble to you.
Fitted the bow with Ephraim,
And raised up your sons, O Zion,
Against your sons, O Greece,
And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”
And aHis arrow will go forth like lightning.
The Lord God will blow the trumpet,
And go bwith whirlwinds from the south.
They shall devour and subdue with slingstones.
They shall drink and roar as if with wine;
They shall be filled with blood like1 basins,
Like the corners of the altar.
As the flock of His people.
For bthey shall be like the jewels of a crown,
cLifted like a banner over His land—
And how great its bbeauty!
cGrain shall make the young men thrive,
And new wine the young women.

Turn ye - The prophet exhorts the Jews to hasten to Christ, who is the salvation and high tower of the church. Prisoners of hope - Captives, yet not without hope. Even to - day - In this day of lowest distress. Double - Twice as much good as thou hast suffered evil.
