American Standard Version
And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

Amplified® Bible
And I took my staff, Beauty {or} Grace, and broke it in pieces to show that I was annulling the covenant {or} agreement which I had made with all the peoples [not to molest them].

Contemporary English Version
On that same day, I broke the stick named "Mercy" to show that the LORD had canceled his agreement with all people.

And I took my staff, Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

Then I took the stick called "Favor" and broke it, to cancel the covenant which the LORD had made with all the nations.
