American Standard Version
And now, I pray you, entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hosts.

Amplified® Bible
Now then, I [Malachi] beg [you priests], entreat God [earnestly] that He will be gracious to us. With such a gift from your hand [as a defective animal for sacrifice], will He accept it {or} show favor to any of you? says the Lord of hosts.

Contemporary English Version
I am the LORD God All-Powerful, and you had better try to please me. You have sinned. Now see if I will have mercy on any of you.

Darby English Version
And now, I pray you, beseech ùGod that he will be gracious unto us. This hath been of your hand: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hosts.

Good News Bible
Now, you priests, try asking God to be good to us. He will not answer your prayer, and it will be your fault.

King James Version
And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

New American Standard Bible
"But now will you not entreat God's favor, that He may be gracious to us? With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly? says the LORD of hosts."

New International Version
"Now implore God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?"-says the LORD Almighty.

“ But now entreat God’s favor,
That He may be gracious to us.
Whilethis is being done by your hands,
Will He accept you favorably?”
Says the LORD of hosts.

"But now will you not entreat God's favor, that He may show graciousness to us? With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?" says the LORD of hosts.

And now, appease, I pray thee, the face of God, And He doth favour us; From your own hand hath this been, Doth He accept of you appearances? Said Jehovah of Hosts.
