Matthew 4:11

Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him. Luke adds, "for a season" (Luke 4:13). When the devil is resisted he always flees. Angels came and ministered to him. I suppose this ministry was to supply him with food, but they also would afford spiritual sympathy.
