American Standard Version
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his several ability; and he went on his journey.

Amplified® Bible
To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one--to each in proportion to his own personal ability. Then he departed {and} left the country.

Contemporary English Version
The man knew what each servant could do. So he handed five thousand coins to the first servant, two thousand to the second, and one thousand to the third. Then he left the country.

Darby English Version
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his particular ability, and immediately went away out of the country.

Good News Bible
