43 aHe trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ”  
44 aEven the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing.

Matthew 27:44

The thieves also - cast the same in his teeth - That is, one of the robbers; for one, we find, was a penitent, Luke 23:39, Luke 23:40. See this form of expression accounted for, on Matthew 26:8 (note).
