And he preached, saying, There cometh after me he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

Amplified® Bible
And he preached, saying, After me comes He Who is stronger (more powerful and more valiant) than I, the strap of Whose sandals I am not worthy {or} fit to stoop down and unloose.

John also told the people, "Someone more powerful is going to come. And I am not good enough even to stoop down and untie his sandals.

And he preached, saying, There comes he that is mightier than I after me, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to stoop down and unloose.

He announced to the people, "The man who will come after me is much greater than I am. I am not good enough even to bend down and untie his sandals.
