He goes on in verse 15 to say that He gave them power to heal, but the approach between the two authors—the difference—is so obvious. In Mark, the approach is that they are seen as being companions with Him in serving the people of God and the world as well. That is pretty much the relationship the book of Mark shows that these men had with Jesus.
