and when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and them that sat at meat with him; and the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

Amplified® Bible
For when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased {and} fascinated Herod and his guests; and the king said to the girl, Ask me for whatever you desire, and I will give it to you.

Contemporary English Version
The daughter of Herodias came in and danced for Herod and his guests. She pleased them so much that Herod said, "Ask for anything, and it's yours!

Darby English Version
and the daughter of the same Herodias having come in, and danced, pleased Herod and those that were with [him] at table; and the king said to the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt and I will give it thee.
