And Judas Iscariot, he that was one of the twelve, went away unto the chief priests, that he might deliver him unto them.

Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve [apostles], went off to the chief priests in order to betray {and} hand Him over to them.

Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve disciples. He went to the chief priests and offered to help them arrest Jesus.
