14 aLater He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.  
15 aAnd He said to them, “Go into all the world band preach the gospel to every creature.  
16 aHe who believes and is baptized will be saved; bbut he who does not believe will be condemned.  
17 And these asigns will follow those who believe: bIn My name they will cast out demons; cthey will speak with new tongues;  
18 athey will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; bthey will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”  

Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand

19 So then, aafter the Lord had spoken to them, He was breceived up into heaven, and csat down at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:16

He that believeth - He that credits this Gospel as a revelation from God: and is baptized - takes upon him the profession of it, obliging himself to walk according to its precepts: he shall be saved - redeemed from sin here, and brought at last to the enjoyment of my eternal glory. But he that believeth not, shall be damned - because he rejects the only provision that could be effectual to his soul' s salvation.
