Many Healed After Sabbath Sunset

40 aWhen the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.  
41 aAnd demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, b“You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, crebuking them, did not allow them to2 speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

Luke 4:42

JESUS SOUGHT OUT AT MORNING PRAYER, AND ENTREATED TO STAY, DECLINES FROM THE URGENCY OF HIS WORK. (Luke 4:42-44)

stayed him—"were staying Him," or sought to do it. What a contrast to the Gadarenes! The nature of His mission required Him to keep moving, that all might hear the glad tidings (Matthew 8:34).
