and said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same is great.

And told them, Whoever receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes this child in My name {and} for My sake receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least {and} lowliest among you all--he is [the one who is truly] great.

Contemporary English Version
Then he said to his disciples, "When you welcome even a child because of me, you welcome me. And when you welcome me, you welcome the one who sent me. Whichever one of you is the most humble is the greatest."

Darby English Version
and said to them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receives me, and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me. For he who is the least among you all, *he* is great.

Good News Bible
