And behold, a woman that had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up.

Amplified® Bible
And there was a woman there who for eighteen years had had an infirmity caused by a spirit (a demon of sickness). She was bent completely forward and utterly unable to straighten herself up {or} to look upward.

Contemporary English Version
and a woman was there who had been crippled by an evil spirit for eighteen years. She was completely bent over and could not straighten up.

Darby English Version
And lo, [there was] a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent together and wholly unable to lift her head up.

Good News Bible
A woman there had an evil spirit that had kept her sick for eighteen years; she was bent over and could not straighten up at all.
