American Standard Version
who devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater condemnation.

Amplified® Bible
Who make away with {and} devour widows' houses, and [to cover it up] with pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation (the heavier sentence, the severer punishment).

Contemporary English Version
But they cheat widows out of their homes and then pray long prayers just to show off. These teachers will be punished most of all.

Darby English Version
who devour the houses of widows, and as a pretext make long prayers. These shall receive a severer judgment.
