Luke 24:47

beginning at Jerusalem—(1) As the metropolis and heart of the then existing kingdom of God:—"to the Jew first" (Romans 1:16; Acts 13:46; Isaiah 2:3, see on Matthew 10:6). Luke 24:44-49

law . . . prophets . . . psalms—the three Jewish divisions of the Old Testament Scriptures.
