John 3:18
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16). Faith in Christ is essential to salvation, because it is the power that leads to obedience to him. He that believeth not is condemned already. "Shall be damned" (Mark 16:16). The unbeliever condemns himself. He is lost and refuses to be saved by Christ.
