O righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these knew that thou didst send me;

O just {and} righteous Father, although the world has not known You {and} has failed to recognize You {and} has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand {and} know that You have sent Me.

Contemporary English Version
Good Father, the people of this world don't know you. But I know you, and my followers know that you sent me.

Righteous Father, -- and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
