John 21:9

Got out (apebhsan). As in Luke 5:2.

They see (blepousin). Vivid historical present.

A fire of coals (anqrakian). See John 18:18 for this word. Cf. our "anthracite."

There (keimenhn). Lying as placed, present middle participle of keimai.

Fish (oyarion). As in John 6:9, John 6:11, like prosfagion above.

Laid thereon (epikeimenon). So broiling with bread ready (toast).
