For so much (tosoutou). Genitive of price. Perhaps Peter pointed to the pile of money at the feet of the apostles (verse Acts 5:2). The use of ei in direct questions appears in Luke (Luke 13:23; Luke 22:49) as in the LXX like the Hebrew im and in Acts 1:6; Acts 19:2, etc.
