And they went out of the prison, and entered into `the house' of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

Amplified® Bible
So [Paul and Silas] left the prison and went to Lydia's house; and when they had seen the brethren, they warned {and} urged {and} consoled {and} encouraged them and departed.

Contemporary English Version
But Paul and Silas went straight to the home of Lydia, where they saw the Lord's followers and encouraged them. Then they left.

Darby English Version
And having gone out of the prison, they came to Lydia; and having seen the brethren, they exhorted them and went away.

Good News Bible
Paul and Silas left the prison and went to Lydia's house. There they met the believers, spoke words of encouragement to them, and left.
