American Standard Version
The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent:

Amplified® Bible
Such [former] ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored {and} allowed to pass unnoticed; but now He charges all people everywhere to repent (to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins),

Contemporary English Version
In the past, God forgave all this because people did not know what they were doing. But now he says that everyone everywhere must turn to him.

Darby English Version
God therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, now enjoins men that they shall all everywhere repent,

God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways.
