Acts 21:9

Acts 21:9 Had four daughters . . . which did prophesy. Compare Acts 2:17. The prophetic spirit in either the Old or New Testament is not confined to a single sex. Miriam (Exodus 15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4), and Huldah (II Kings 22:14 2Ch 34:22) are Old Testament examples, and in the New Testament, Elizabeth (Luke 1:41, Mary (Luke 1:46-55), Anna (Luke 2:36), and the daughters of Philip are instances.
