And when it was shown to me that there would be a plot against the man, I sent him to thee forthwith, charging his accusers also to speak against him before thee.

Amplified® Bible
[However] when it was pointed out to me that there would be a conspiracy against the man, I sent him to you immediately, directing his accusers also to present before you their charge against him.

Contemporary English Version
As soon as I learned that there was a plot against him, I sent him to you and told their leaders to bring charges against him in your court.

Darby English Version
But having received information of a plot about to be put in execution against the man [by the Jews], I have immediately sent him to thee, commanding also his accusers to say before thee the things that are against him. [Farewell.]

Good News Bible
And when I was informed that there was a plot against him, at once I decided to send him to you. I have told his accusers to make their charges against him before you."

Since a plot against the man has been reported to me, I am at once sending him to you and have also ordered his accusers to present their charges against him before you."
