To save Paul (diaswsai ton Paulon). Effective first aorist active infinitive of diaswzw. And no wonder for the centurion knew now how much they all owed to Paul.
Stayed them from their purpose (ekwleusen autouv tou boulhmatov.) Ablative case of boulhma after ekwleusen (from kwleuw, to hinder, common verb).
And get first to land (prwtouv eiv thn ghn ecienai). This classic verb eceimi occurs four times in Acts (Acts 13:42; Acts 17:15; Acts 20:7; Acts 27:32) and nowhere else in the N.T. It was a wise command.
Other Robertson's Word Pictures (NT) entries containing Acts 27:43:
John 5:2
Acts 13:42
Acts 17:15
Acts 23:24
Acts 27:3
Romans 9:19
