Romans 14:4
Compare all
2 For one believes he amay eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
3 Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and alet not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
4 aWho are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
5 aOne person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 He who aobserves the day, observes it to the Lord;1 and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for bhe gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.
7 For anone of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

Romans 14:4

Who art thou that judgest another man' s servant? - Who has ever given thee the right to condemn the servant of another man, in things pertaining to his own master? To his own master he standeth or falleth. He is to judge him, not thou; thy intermeddling in this business is both rash and uncharitable.

Yea, he shall be holden up - He is sincere and upright, and God, who is able to make him stand, will uphold him; and so teach him that he shall not essentially err. And it is the will of God that such upright though scrupulous persons should be continued members of his Church.
