Avoid Divisive Persons

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those awho cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and bavoid them.  
18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord1 Jesus Christ, but atheir own belly, and bby smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.  
19 For ayour obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be bwise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.  
20 And athe God of peace bwill crush Satan under your feet shortly. cThe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Romans 16:19

For your obedience is come abroad - The apostle gives this as a reason why they should continue to hear and heed those who had led them into the path of truth, and avoid those false teachers whose doctrines tended to the subversion of their souls.

Yet I would have you wise - I would wish you carefully to discern the good from the evil, and to show your wisdom, by carefully avoiding the one and cleaving to the other.
