Articles, Bible studies, and sermons that contain The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians 6:3:

I Corinthians 6:2-5
Excerpted from: The Eternal Privileges of the Bride

Please turn with me to I Corinthians 6, verse 2. Because the bride of Christ is victorious, she will sit with Him on His throne, and that is the dignity, that is the privilege we have. The apostle Paul seems to scratch his head at the church in Corinth because they do not seem to get it. They do not seem to be able to grasp this greatness and this glory.

Although Paul's rebuke was initially directed at the Corinthians, it was inspired for the edification of every member of God's church. What is the matter with you? he asked. Why are you arguing among yourselves the issue? Paul wonders if they realize that every one of us as a Christian is in such a relationship to Christ that we are going to judge the world and that we are going to judge angels. This is part of the dignity that belongs to us.

I Corinthians 6:3-4
Excerpted from: Government (Part Seven)

It is a question. He is calling them into account. They were doing the wrong thing. They were calling those to judge who were least able to do so. Now, what kind of justice, what kind of fairness, what kind of equity can there be in that kind of situation?
