Compare all
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. aNeither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor1 homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were asome of you. bBut you were washed, but you were1 sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Glorify God in Body and Spirit

12 aAll things are lawful for me, but all things are not1 helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of2 any.
13 aFoods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for bsexual immorality but cfor the Lord, dand the Lord for the body.

1 Corinthians 6:11

And such were some of you: but ye are washed - From those gross abominations; nay, and ye are inwardly sanctified; not before, but in consequence of, your being justified in the name - That is, by the merits, of the Lord Jesus, through which your sins are forgiven. And by the Spirit of our God - By whom ye are thus washed and sanctified.
