American Standard Version
If any man thinketh that he knoweth anything, he knoweth not yet as he ought to know;

Amplified® Bible
If anyone imagines that he has come to know {and} understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive {and} recognize {and} understand as strongly {and} clearly, {nor} has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought {or} as is necessary.

Contemporary English Version
In fact, people who think they know so much don't know anything at all.

Darby English Version
If any one think he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know [it].

Those who think they know something really don't know as they ought to know.
