American Standard Version
Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Amplified® Bible
So [to conclude], my brethren, earnestly desire {and} set your hearts on prophesying (on being inspired to preach and teach and to interpret God's will and purpose), and do not forbid {or} hinder speaking in [unknown] tongues.

Contemporary English Version
My friends, be eager to prophesy and don't stop anyone from speaking languages that others don't know.

So that, brethren, desire to prophesy, and do not forbid the speaking with tongues.
