2 Corinthians 2:15

13 ^aI had no rest in my spirit, because I did not find Titus my brother; but taking my leave of them, I departed for Macedonia.

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us¹ diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ ^aamong those who are being saved and ^bamong those who are perishing.

16 ^aTo the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And ^bwho is sufficient for these things?

17 For we are not, as¹ so many, ^apeddling the word of God; but as ^bof sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

For we - The preachers of the gospel. Are to God a sweet odour of Christ - God is well - pleased with this perfume diffused by us, both in them that believe and are saved, treated of, II Corinthians 3:1; II Corinthians 4:2; and in them that obstinately disbelieve and, consequently, perish, treated of, II Corinthians 4:3-6.
