Before the judgment-seat of Christ (emprosqen tou bhmatov tou Xristou). Old word bhma, a step (from bainw), a platform, the seat of the judge (Matthew 27:19). Christ is Saviour, Lord, and Judge of us all (touv pantav, the all).

That each may receive (ina komishtai ekastov). Receive as his due, komizw means, old verb. See on Matthew 25:27.

Bad (faulon). Old word, akin to German faul, worthless, of no account, base, wicked.
