Behold, now is the acceptable time (idou nun kairov euprosdektov). Here is another "Pauline parenthesis" (Plummer) as in II Corinthians 5:7 by the quotation from Isaiah 49:8. The LXX has dektov (dektoi) verbal of dexomai, but Paul employs the double compound (eu, pros, dektov), well-received. It occurs in Aristophanes, Plutarch, inscription, etc.
