Galatians 1:9
Compare all
7 awhich is not another; but there are some bwho trouble you and want to cpervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But even if awe, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be1 accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you athan what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 For ado I now bpersuade men, or God? Or cdo I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Galatians 1:9

Let him be accursed - Perhaps this is not designed as an imprecation, but a simple direction; for the word here may be understood as implying that such a person should, have no countenance in his bad work, but let him, as Theodoret expresses it, , be separated from the communion of the Church. This, however, would also imply that unless the person repented, the Divine judgments would soon follow.
