Galatians 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law. Compare and see notes on Romans 7:4-6 Col 2:20. When the knowledge of Christ came, and he saw his faulty obedience to the law, he realized that he was dead in sin, slain by the law. That I might live unto God. But having died, he was freed from the law, when he became a new creature in Christ.
