American Standard Version
Ye are severed from Christ, ye would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace.

Amplified® Bible
If you seek to be justified {and} declared righteous {and} to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing {and} so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing).

Contemporary English Version
And if you try to please God by obeying the Law, you have cut yourself off from Christ and his wonderful kindness.

Darby English Version
Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.

Good News Bible
Those of you who try to be put right with God by obeying the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ. You are outside God's grace.

International Standard Version
Those of you who are trying to be justified by the law have been cut off from Christ. You have fallen away from grace.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
