25 of which I became a minister according to ^athe stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

26 ^athe¹ mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, ^bbut now has been revealed to His saints.

27 ^aTo them God willed to make known what are ^bthe riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles:¹ which is ^cChrist in you, ^dthe hope of glory.

28 Him we preach, ^awarning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, ^bthat we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me ^amightily.

According to the dispensation of God - The arrangement which God has made. That is, he designed that the gospel should be preached to the Gentiles, and, in accordance with that arrangement, he has called me to be a minister. Notes, Ephesians 3:2.

To fulfil the word of God - Margin, "fully to preach." The Greek is, "to fill up the word of God;" the meaning is, "fully to teach and promulgate the gospel;" compare the notes at Romans 15:19.
